Living on the island of Maui certainly has its benefits, but seeing your favorite bands on tour isn’t necessarily one of them. It’s quite expensive for a band to play in Hawaii- the entire tour has to be shipped. And it can take a full week off the tour calendar just to play 1 show!
But The Who had never played on Maui, and bringing their show to those fans was important to them. So on August 4th, 2004, The Who took the stage at the Alexander and Baldwin Amphitheater in Kahului and put on a legendary performance still talked about today!
Don’t miss The Who- they’re headlining the next Live in Concert.
